Description
2001 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Diesel
Built for travelers who want dependable diesel performance without giving up residential comfort, this 2001 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Diesel offers an impressive combination of power, stability, storage, and upscale living. It rides on Holiday Rambler’s raised-rail Roadmaster chassis and is powered by a 330 HP Cummins ISC 8.3L turbo diesel, producing up to 950 lb-ft of torque. An Allison 3000 MH automatic transmission, full air suspension, full air brakes, Pac brake, power steering, and a 100-gallon fuel tank help provide a smooth, confident driving experience on long trips. A factory-rated 10,000-pound hitch receiver adds substantial towing capability.
Holiday Rambler engineered the Endeavor for lasting durability. Construction features include an Alumaframe superstructure, steel-cage cockpit, steel-framed floor, peaked aluminum roof with fiberglass insulation, smooth gel-coat fiberglass exterior walls, molded fiberglass front and rear caps, and insulated walls, roof, floor, and underbelly. Large exterior storage compartments offer plenty of room for camping equipment, tools, and travel essentials.
The cockpit is designed to make long days behind the wheel more comfortable. Brochure-listed features include a six-way power pilot seat, adjustable accelerator and brake pedals, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, electronic cruise control, rear-vision camera, air horn, fog lights, power step-well cover, and power-controlled heated exterior mirrors.
Inside, the Endeavor has a warm, residential feel with Western Oak cabinetry, solid-wood raised-panel cabinet doors, a soft-touch padded ceiling, ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathroom, and abundant overhead storage. The living area provides comfortable seating, a dining table with chairs, day/night shades, and entertainment equipment for relaxing at the end of the day.
The well-equipped kitchen includes a solid-surface countertop, stainless-steel sink, large double-door refrigerator, high-output three-burner range with oven, and a space-saving convection microwave with range hood. Multiple cabinets and drawers provide practical storage for cookware, dishes, and pantry items.
The private rear bedroom offers a queen bed, wardrobes, overhead cabinets, a bedroom television, and a full-length dressing mirror. Depending on the floorplan, the bathroom includes a private toilet area, one-piece fiberglass shower, skylight, cultured-marble vanity with integrated sink, glass shower door, and china toilet. Holiday Rambler offered several 36-, 38-, and 40-series layouts with different bedroom, wardrobe, dining, and seating arrangements.
Designed for comfortable extended travel, the Endeavor includes 50-amp electrical service, an Onan 6.5 kW LP generator, dual deep-cycle house batteries, two 13,500-BTU ducted roof air conditioners with heat pumps, a ducted furnace, heated wet bay, and a 10-gallon LP/electric water heater. Generous tank capacities include approximately 100 gallons of fresh water, 60 gallons of gray water, 40 gallons of black water, and 38 gallons of LP.
With its powerful Cummins diesel engine, Allison transmission, air-ride Roadmaster chassis, solid Holiday Rambler construction, full kitchen, private bedroom, and generous storage and utility capacities, this 2001 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Diesel is an excellent choice for road trips, seasonal camping, or extended RV living.
